In the second minute of stoppage time, a ball thrown forward from a teammate’s throw-in was played back to the goalkeeper by an opposing defender.
Not missing the decision or the slight lack of pace on the pass, he quickly closed down the space and intercepted the ball.
Facing the goalkeeper one-on-one, he took a calm first touch to wrong-foot his opponent and coolly slotted the ball home from a tight angle to score an additional goal.
It marked his first league goal of the season since joining Birmingham.
